Remember when all we had to do was to keep our ponytails straight and catch fireflies? – Author Unknown. Being seven only lasts 365 days, which to a child seems like an eternity but for a mother reminiscing, a few blinks and a smile. It’s a time in a child’s life when wonder is boundless and make- believe is the springboard of their creative imagination.
Little Isabella, Sandra and Jon’s daughter had some beautiful photographs taken of her in her bedroom for At Home in Arkansas. It was a feature on the lovely décor but what I loved was the shot of Bella having tea with her teddy bear. One of the most enjoyable birthday parties I gave to my daughters when they were younger, was a princess tea party. Seeing this photo reminded me of this and how much fun we all had. Princess gowns, feather boas, little china cups and teacakes were all a part of the celebration. This type of party connects the dress-up theme and make-believe fun that girls at this age really seem to relish. It also yields the best photographs too! We have so many invitations that would be perfect for a tea party. I will post a couple so you will get the idea but there are so many more within the line. We also have “Frosting Glitter Glue,” that would make the invitation so much more magical. It is such a sweet party to host for your child and her friends and a memory she will always cherish.
